Connect your WhatsApp Business account to Orders App to start receiving orders from your chats. This guide walks you through the whole setup, from Settings in the app to seeing your number active. It takes just a few minutes.
Before you start, make sure you have:
Orders App on your phone. See How to install Orders App on iPhone or How to download Orders App on Android.
An Orders App account. See How to create your Orders App account.
The WhatsApp Business app on the same phone, and the Facebook login for the account that manages your business.
Open Connections
Open Orders App and tap the Settings tab. Then tap Connections.
Under WhatsApp, tap Connect next to WhatsApp Business.
Continue with Facebook
A setup page opens. Tap Continue with Facebook and sign in with the Facebook account that manages your business.
Note
Your WhatsApp Business account isn't linked to Facebook yet? That's fine. You can link it during setup, and you'll end up on the same screens.
Meta explains what you're connecting. Tap Continue.
Choose your phone number
Open the Phone number dropdown. You'll see the number already registered to your WhatsApp Business app. Select it and tap Next.
Meta shows the profile your customers already see. Confirm your business details and tap Next.
Choose your business portfolio
Pick your Business portfolio from the dropdown and tap Next.
Copy the access code
Meta gives you an access code. You'll need it in your WhatsApp Business app in a moment, so tap Copy.
Connect in WhatsApp Business
Switch to your WhatsApp Business app. Look for a message from Facebook Business and tap Connect.
Tip
Can't find the message? Go to Settings > Account > Business Platform.
To bring your previous order conversations to Orders App, choose Share all chats. Then tap Confirm.
Enter the access code
You can skip the QR code, since you've already copied the access code. Tap Enter access code instead.
Paste the access code and give it a moment to connect.
WhatsApp confirms you're connected to Orders App. Tap OK and go back to the setup page.
Finish setup
Back on the setup page, check your WhatsApp Business account name and time zone. Then tap Next.
Review what you're sharing with Orders App and tap Confirm.
When you see Your account is connected to OrdersApp, tap Finish. Orders App reviews your business to make sure it follows WhatsApp's Commerce Policy, usually within 24 hours.
Check your connection
Back in Orders App, your WhatsApp Business number now shows as Active under Settings > Connections.
