# How to edit product fields?

Product fields let you add extra details to your products, such as size, color,
material, or other options. This guide walks you through the steps. It only
takes a few taps.


ADD A PRODUCT FIELD

Open Orders App and tap the Settings tab (the gear icon at the bottom). Then tap
Manage.



Tap Products.



Tap Product fields.



You'll see your product fields. Name is there by default. Tap Add field.



The Add product field sheet opens. Enter a Field name, for example Color, then
tap Add at the top right. You'll see a "Field added" message, and the new field
shows in the list. It's added to every product.




REMOVE A PRODUCT FIELD

To delete a product field, tap the trash icon next to the field you want to
remove.



Confirm by tapping Remove, and the field will be deleted.



Tip



Removed the default Name field by mistake? Tap Restore at the top right to bring
it back. Restore only brings back the default fields, not the ones you added
yourself.
