# Why is my WhatsApp number shown as ineligible?

When you connect WhatsApp to Orders App, Meta's setup may show your WhatsApp
number as ineligible. This happens when the number is already connected to
another business platform.

A WhatsApp number can only be connected to one business platform at a time.
Follow these steps to check your current connection and connect your number to
Orders App.

OPEN YOUR ACCOUNT SETTINGS

Open the WhatsApp Business app on the phone with the number you want to connect.
Tap Settings, then tap Account.

OPEN BUSINESS PLATFORM

Tap Business Platform to see whether your WhatsApp number is already connected
to another platform.

CHECK THE CONNECTED PLATFORM

If an account shows under Connected platform, your number is already connected
to that business platform.

If you want to connect the number to Orders App instead, you need to disconnect
the current platform first.

DISCONNECT THE CURRENT PLATFORM

Tap the connected platform, then tap Disconnect and follow the steps to confirm.

Note

Disconnecting removes access to the current platform's features. Your WhatsApp
Business app will not be affected. Only disconnect the platform when you're
ready to connect the number to Orders App.

CONNECT YOUR NUMBER TO ORDERS APP AGAIN

Go back to Orders App and start the WhatsApp connection again from Settings >
Connections > Connect next to WhatsApp Business. Select the same WhatsApp
number. It should now show as eligible. Complete the remaining steps and tap
Finish. Your number is now connected to Orders App.
